When I edit a RAW photo on an other device or in an other app (e.g. in Apple Photos) Darkroom doesn’t seem to recognize the photo as RAW anymore and no RAW icon is displayed. But this is misleading. I’d expect Darkroom to still display RAW icon not matter if it was edited somewhere else.
