Super8 film recipe#556

With the popularity of shooting (both still and video) in vintage film look today, I’d like to see Darkroom release a selection for those who want to recreate Super8 film look in post to video clips. There are some pieces of Super8 that Darkroom+ can already do but, there are some that are missing:

• grain selection (Darkroom+ can already do)
• shadowing (Darkroom+ can already do)
• 4:3 (Darkroom+ can already do)

Missing:

• light leaks
• 18 frames per second
• imperfections (large flecks, hair, etc.
• vignetting

I shoot in Super8 film on occasion and it is wildly expensive to acquire and develop. Competitive post production tools can be adjusted to get the Super8 look but, it is unnecessarily tedious. Darkroom+ has already set the standard (at least to me) of making the video and film post process simple yet powerful. I think the addition of a Super8 film recipe would be welcome by many.
