Independent Photo library on internal or external drive#40

Please add the ability to edit images from a local library instead of the iCloud Photo Library.

That would be especially useful on the MacOS version!

+1 to all these requests. I’ve loved using Darkroom for my iCloud photos, but now that it’s getting to be powerful enough for my work photos, I really need to be able to work on local libraries.

This is crucial feature for me to use this app effectively. I’m only a hobbyist photographer but I don’t like managing my library of work through iCloud Photos only.

Having the possibility to make your own albums instead of the predefined straitjacket albums of Apple would be great. And it would make Darkroom better useable

I think this absolutely needed for Darkroom getting mature: Working with extern drives and folders!! Please make it work - should not be too hard… 😉
