Ability to edit the EXIF metadata for images. For example, if the user imports external images (e.g. scanned film), the metadata will be either empty or the scanner’s and the location missing. Would be great if it could be changed in Darkroom! Even better if it could be batch editable!

@Dan What metadata are you most likely to want to edit or change?

I’ve been logging the following for my pictures:
And I put the type of film used in the description field, of course this won’t apply to digital pictures.
The location can be changed in Photos.app now at least :)

I would love the ability to edit the title and description of files, both individually and in batch. The same for file names.

It would be great to be able to batch manage keywords associated with an image too. I can do this on the desktop very slowly. It would be great for archive and later retrieval. Import of GPX data from other sources would be legendary! 😁🙏

I would really like ability to change metadata about camera lens editing aperture would be also wonderful.
Leica M cameras only recognize Leica lenses so popelar lens like Voigtlander lack metadata. It is really easy to add that metadata with lightroom while importing images from camera, but impossible to do so with photos or darkroom. Worse yet it is impossible to add that information after images are imported also. This is a main limitation preventing users like myself from switching off of the lightroom.
